    Operations Manager

    Mary Gasparini joined our firm in July of 2005, she is Vice President of Operations.

    Mary has an extensive management background and has managed warehouses, distribution centers and retail stores. She works closely with all of our agents, office assistants, and brokers to make sure that needs and questions are addressed quickly.

    As Operations Manager I insure all of our offices are staffed and operate in an efficient manner. I work closely with our staff to insure our Agents needs are meet, and that we exceed our Agents expectations. My role is that of a liaison between our offices, Brokers, and Agents to insure necessary communication takes place back and forth to insure we reach our common goal of serving our Customers. Drake Realty offers our Agents affordable low cost monthly programs while providing a high quality environment in which our Agents can achieve their Real Estate goals.

    Ed Smith has been a licensed real estate professional for over 18 years, a broker for over 8 years and with Drake Realty, Inc for over 5 years.

    In 2007 he agreed to join the broker team and works out of our Marietta office.

    Ed is available for all agents to answer any real estate question, assist with special stipulations on contracts, work through contract situations and will even walk agents through contracts line-by-line. Ed travels to the different offices to provide agents an opportunity for face-to-face interaction. He has been a great addition to our team.

    Her real estate career ranges from working with first-time and experienced buyers, sellers, investors, tenants, landlords and lease-purchase transactions in both residential and commercial. She is more than capable in guiding you through the resale process, but is very knowledgeable in foreclosures and short-sales.

    In a world of automated voices, she takes pride in the old-fashioned value of being available to speak to a live person to be able to answer questions and concerns. From the first handshake, to the last smile, she believes in professionalism and tenacity.

    My philosophy on mentoring is that it is so important in the way we are guided from the beginning in how to structure your business. Training is key. I will teach you the important nuts and bolts of real estate and to think of your real estate business like your own business. Some of the most important factors in establishing that mindset is customer service, answering your phone, returning phone calls and follow-up. Also, I will emphasize that you may not always have the answer to a question/concern right then and there, but it's okay to say that I will get back to you with that answer and actually do so, in a timely manner. Do not over-promised and under-deliver. Keeping your word is under-estimated. Getting your journey started in real estate is a very exciting time, I look forward to assisting new agents in that endeavor!

The Drake Realty Story

Drake Realty has been working in the Atlanta real estate market since 1991. Drake Realty was started solely for investment opportunities for the broker owner, Glenn F. Drake. Mr. Drake has been a licensed realtor in the State of Georgia since 1987. In 1991 he became a broker and founded Drake Real Estate and Tax Service, Inc. The company is now known as Drake Realty. He also has a background in tax research and a Masters degree in Business Administration.

Bernie Drake joined the company as a full time Broker in 2003. She has been licensed since 1991 and has always worked in the business on a part-time basis. Until she joined Drake Realty full-time, she held a high level management position in accounting for a large firm in Georgia. She has a background in managing personal and customer investment property and portfolios and is experienced in corporate and individual taxation. She manages all administrative functions for the Drake Realty offices and is the Broker for Drake Realty in Georgia.

Over the years, we have expanded and have integrated our investment philosophy for the homebuyer. As an investor we bought properties for value. We translate this methodology to your home buying process. Buyers look for personal preference in style and functionality. We use the mix of prospecting value with the buyer's personal preferences to find your home. Drake Realty is a full service real estate company serving the greater Atlanta area.
